This magazine was created as a passion project to explore and express my personal design style through editorial layout and visual storytelling. Every element—from the typography and image selection to the overall composition—was thoughtfully designed to reflect both aesthetic balance and engaging content. The goal was to challenge myself creatively while showcasing my ability to independently conceptualize, design, and execute a complete magazine experience.

This magazine cover was fully designed and photographed by me as part of a self-directed project to showcase my editorial and visual storytelling skills. I captured the aerial image of La Fortuna, Costa Rica, then developed a bold layout that integrates type and image to create a dynamic, reader-focused introduction to the issue. The goal was to communicate the spirit of adventure while demonstrating my ability to control every element of the creative process—from concept and photography to layout and typography.

This editorial spread was created to inform and empower drone users by providing practical travel tips and personal insight based on real experience. I designed the layout, wrote the article, and selected all imagery to create a clean, accessible guide that balances useful information with engaging storytelling. The goal was to make drone travel feel less intimidating and more inspiring for beginners and enthusiasts alike.

This feature spread was designed to capture the immersive experience of exploring the Mistico Hanging Bridges in Costa Rica. I handled all aspects of the project—from layout and typography to writing and photography—to create a cohesive, visually rich narrative. The goal was to transport readers into the lush atmosphere of the cloud forest while offering a personal reflection that blends travel journalism with editorial design.

This spread was created as a design exercise focused on editorial layout and typographic hierarchy. I sourced both the article and imagery from the web, then curated and arranged them to create a compelling and educational magazine feature. The goal was to explore how thoughtful design and image placement can support dense informational content while maintaining visual clarity and reader engagement.

This back cover was designed to provide a clean and inviting visual conclusion to the issue, featuring the Arenal Observatory Lodge in Costa Rica. I composed the layout to balance visual impact with simplicity, placing emphasis on the scenic photography and resort branding. The goal was to create a strong promotional impression while maintaining the magazine’s overall aesthetic and editorial tone.
